We are pleased to announce the opening of the Gospel Assembly International Seminary and Bible School. Classes will begin in January, 2004. Both on-campus and off-campus correspondence courses will be available.
Initially, three religious degrees will be offered: Associate of Practical Theology (Th. A.), Bachelors of Theology (Th. B.), and Master of Theology (Th. M.). Courses will be offered in five departments: Theology, Bible Studies, Church Administration, Religious History, and Christian Counseling.
For tuition and admissions information, as well as a handbook containing course descriptions, faculty information, etc., please contact us.
We have felt it necessary to establish a Seminary and Bible School. We realize that such formal education cannot substitute for the calling of God to preach. The great apostles, prophets and ministers of the Bible and history did not attend any formal educational programs. Yet there were schools of the prophets.
We have not sought, nor will we seek, secular accreditation. We offer these courses for ministers and saints in the Body of Christ, to gain more knowledge of God’s Word, and to assist overseas ministers to establish the credibility of their ministry with their governmental agencies.
The Associate of Practical Theology degree program will consist of 12 courses of five credit hours each. Those taking these courses by correspondence will be able to work at their own pace, although it is anticipated that the program will take approximately two years to complete. An additional 12 courses will be required for the awarding of the Bachelor of Theology degree; and eight more courses plus a thesis will be needed to earn the degree of Master of Theology.
All courses will be developed and prepared by faculty who are members of the Body of Christ. To the fullest extent possible, textbooks will be authored by ministers of the gospel in the Body of Christ.
