Yes, in a general analysis, most “modern preachers” are preaching the “Gospel of Jesus.” I’m also aware that there are false preachers, but like Jesus said that He would give us the Spirit of truth who would lead us into all truth. The Holy Spirit enables us to test the spirits to see if they are pro-Christ or anti-Christ. When people are indoctrinated and bigoted, they tend to become fundamentalists. A good example is Apostle Paul. While Paul was still Saul, he persecuted the church of Christ and he was strongly convinced that he was doing the work of God. But, when he encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus, his mindset changed. He changed from a persecutor of the body of Christ to a promoter of the body of Christ. That’s the kind of transformation that occurs when one truly encounters Jesus. And that’s the experience that most modern preachers long to see in those they minister to.
